Uvid memory
Maximious rage-
October’s hurricane
Dunes avulsed and shorn
Sharp edges of jagged sand
Like eroded bluffs
Before Entropy
Blears them smooth again
Brine spits up seashells
So pacative, now
With the soughing wind
And Virason’s tangy scent
Moon hovers in afternoon
Marsh rabbit peering out
Where sea-oats remain
In blinking sunlight
As November comes
With a gentle wave
And long, sad Shadow
Mesmerizing wee film…
Oh why thank you very much! I’ve never made one before, so I was slightly apprehensive about it. I must say, though, it was quite a hoot to do. Thank you for breezing by, much appreciated! Cheers,
Autumn Jade
Those pictures were absolutely amazing. I live near the beach in Florida, and have to say, I’ve never seen seaweed depicted so beautifully that I desired a vase full. Thanks for sharing.
Oh thank you very much, what a beautiful comment. Yes, I adore the seaweeds here, along FL beaches, especially at twilight, where they really start to take on a very elegant melancholy. Thank you for sluicing by, all the best,
Autumn Jade
I think you need to also include an audio or video version of each poem. Your poetry is not only elegant, it’s always a learning experience for me. I think I must have a working vocabulary the size of a five year old – as most adults. But you stretch me EVERY time. To be a little mathematical with this, but 7/ 63 is almost 10% of the words I felt comfortable looking up to validate that I either knew them or didn’t. I think you should sell your work to teachers to help students develop their academic vocabulary. Luscious. Thanks for expanding my horizons! Always a pleasure. 🙂
Oh what a charming, gruntling comment indeed. I am so glad to share the words I love with you, and am elated you are finding it a positive experience. I find it all so very edifying indeed! GROOVY!
YES I am working on such an endeavour. I would like very much to begin providing video/audio versions with posts soon, via youtube links I was thinking. Well, I had my first go at it with this one, here, linking to a video. It’s the nascent of more to come, I so hope.
Thank you so much for oozing by and leaving such a marvelous comment. With many smiling toads,
Autumn Jade

Your seaweed photo reminds me of a time when evening came in the bush of the Cameroons. I collected wood and twigs to start a camp fire. Lit the fire and half the twigs ran away……..stick insects……a surreal moment.
There are sea animals that disguise themselves as seaweed. Maybe you photographed one 😀 Ralph x
Now that would have been a most intriguing moment to behold! Oooo I would love to visit there, aye, that I would.
I frequently find stick-insects at some of the parks, here. They are such peaceful creatures. Sir, the most common victim, er I mean companion, I command and drag, er I mean politely invite, on hikes with me, is always goggle-eyed when I pluck a twig from a branch and put it on my hand and it procedes to walk. You should see his bulbouse-eyed expressions when I coax frogs into lunging for and latching onto his nose, too. Never fails to entertain frogs, stick insects, and people alike, our Sir.
Aye millions of wee creatures I am sure are all going about their fascinating lives on that lush bit of seaweed there. Fascinating to contemplate.
So gruntled with your comment. Thank you ever so much for skipping by and leaving a few drops to ponder over and smile about,
Myriad cheers,
Autumn Jade
You are so talented!
Oh *chortles* you are too kind, too kind! Thank you for flitting by and imbibing, much obliged, too groovy, cheers,
Autumn Jade
According to Greek mythology humans were originally created with 4 arms 4 legs and a head with 2 faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate parts…the photographer and the sea creature (in your case)…
Beautiful blog! Thank you for visiting.
Cheers from someone in love with the sea as much as you
