Oh yes? Did you do several jumping jacks? Or 43 cartwheels? Or go on a quick 38-mile sprint through the scintillating Spanish hinterlands brushed in the gold of dawn?? I think that would warm me up too. Of course…so would idling in the sunlight for about three seconds… But does an earnest Emerald spirit of rime-sheathed, frost-misting, glittering brine ever thaw?? I should hope not!!

The nose-assailant sounds like Basil, a large speckled cat living here. Excellent. Yes, that will do most swimmingly. I know the feeling of being swathed in whiskered heaters rather well. Grand! 😀

A deeply gruntling comment, thank you very much! Yes, I was rather content with the outcome of the haiku with photos, thought they converged rather swimmingly. Although…I really never could come up with words that ever could adequately do justice to the beauty all around, just as I am always failing to capture the true living beauty of a scene in a photo, but try I must. 😀 And ever-delighted in the doing so, that endless pursuit.
